This is at Purina Farms in Gray Summit, MO. Here is the update from Adrian via the discdog list. I am planning on this as of right now.

Show Me Your Disc Dogs!

This is the notice for the "Show Me II"

This is the 72 day notice of the Show Me State Disc Dog Championships 2010.

The Show Me State (Missouri) Disc Dog Championships is a stand alone disc dog competition that has its own rules. It will be held at Purina Farms in Gray Summit, MO...just like last year. Your hosts will be the Purina Farmers, the Kansas City Disc Dogs, and the St. Louis Disc Dogs.

Set aside this cool October weekend for us as we offer up 5 games for you to play with your dog. Team Time Trial (Ohio Rules), FunStyle, Timed Course, Long Distance Throw and Catch, and Throw and Catch; each in Pro and Novice divisions. Awards will be given for each game and over-all awards for top finishers in Novice and Pro Divisions.

The entries are cheap and our goal is to get all the teams thier maximum field time with their dog. Cuts to the second round will only be made if the sun is going down or the weather sucks. Purina Farms is also having it's Haunted Hayloft (Halloween Festival) in the evenings this weekend, there will be fun. Make plans to join us.

Check out the full details:

Thank you,

Adrian Custer

It looks interesting, but I don't understand their terminology. What is "Funstyle", "Timed event", etc? I have a brother who lives about 20-30 miles away from Gray Summit, so it might be fun to do.

Funstyle is freestyle. And the timed courses are probably some type of T/C that is timed. Same as Team Time Trial. They will explain all the games at the player's meeting. :D
