JW...I need to know if you want Cynthia to come and bring her dogs. You'd mentioned it was going to be just a few of us, so I mentioned it to her. While she doesn't have any freestyle dogs, she does have 2 D/A dogs and 4 total dogs who are all great w/kids. Most importantly she is available to go on Friday...I need to let her know what the plan is...

Thanks.

Melis

JW is away for the week.

He will be back Thursday.

Freestylers only I am guessing. Puppies are fine probaby. As long as you are fine with rowdy crazy kids squeezing them and stuff... :D

Performance suggestions:

Do your regular freestyle routine. Either before or after it you can add some stuff you would not normally do. Aubrey, special tricks, long throws, Kids/people in general love those... Know your dog... Will they do these things when they are tired? If not do them first... Also depending on the weather you may need to adjust things. Plan on 3 mins or so.

I think that it went well. It took over 4 hours to get home though. I had a lot of fun.

I think it went really well. Those kiddos are quite a tough crowd- but I think we still managed a good demo.
The one thing I ask is if people use the sound equipment for something---- ***PLEASE PUT IT ALL BACK FOR THE NEXT GROUP***

what was missing? I helped put it away during the Jordan event. If that was the last time it was used, and it wasn't all put back right, I apologize... tell me what I did so I don't do it again.

I don't think anyone did anything wrong. Maybe the club should invest in a cd player that can stay with the stuff.

The CD player should have been the only thing missing. Was anything else missing?

It got put in my bag. You know people trying to help and stuff. It got put in the wrong place. It can stay with the stuff. I don't need it.

That was the only thing well except the banner again but other than that that was it. I am thinking of purchasing wireless headsets for demos. The one complaint I heard was that it was a little hard to hear when I was playing with the Beju. If they work maybe the club could purchase them in the next couple of years.

Ya they work if you get the ones that cost $400. It would be sweet however. Where you talking while you where playing or what could they not hear?

What I did is when I had Beju out, I was asking the kids in the crowd what they would like to see ie: back vault or flips or for some reason they really liked to see the dog go around to catch the disc. I kind of explained what was going on to the kids and made it more personal than just watching a few dogs do cool tricks. I did this with no music and it worked great. Since the counselors did not want the kids having the mini disc during lunch, big problem last year with mini discs flying around the lunch room.
