Slight snag guys...Adam emailed and asked if we would be willing to use another field to keep the driving range open. One field is next to the playground and is about 75 yds long. The other is down below near the 700# campsites and is larger than the driving range. IF we use the same campsites as before, it would be a trek to walk down there but if we drove, not a problem. IF I can get us a discount on those campsites, would we prefer to camp down there? They are premium sites. We would be further away from the flush toilet and Snack Shack, etc. but we would also be further away with our barking dogs, etc. If you look on the camp map, the field is at the end of #716 and we could ask for camsites across from there and next to it. If we use the one near the playground, I don't know we would have enough room for Longshot.

I'd love to see Longshot stay if it's possible. Not a big fan of being up in the playground field. I'd say look into a discount for the #700's sites and stay down there. That field looks pretty nice on Google maps.

I'll help with any/all line judging for Novice and Men's Longshot!

And maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to try some Novice freestyle judging. What would I have to do to help with that?

I believe the Judges forum on here is viewable to everyone. There should be tips on there and maybe some videos? Each venue has different scoring criteria. For Skyhoundz, they use PAWS. (Presentation, Athleticism, Wow factor and Success) So if you go to the Skyhoundz website, it talks about each one and how they are scored. Then you can watch any You Tube videos and practice scoring. I would love to see some people try judging if you haven't. We need to build our judges bank! :D

I'm game for some novice freestyle judging too! I'm also not planning on playing longshot, rather borrowing my dogs out to whoever wants to throw for them. So I can line judge for that. Go ahead and throw me on whatever you need me!

Okay guys! Finally heard back from Adam. He said we can have the field if we pay $15 per person for camping. This is still a good deal as standard sites are $42 a night for 2 people. If you have more than 2 people camping, it will be regular price. I did see on their website that they are having a special in Sept. of 25% off so that may apply to anyone with 3 or more people per site.
Also, for those just coming for the day, admission is $3. Just check in at the main building.

If this is okay with everyone, I will let him know and we can confirm dates, etc.
