MN Disc Dog discussion

I was thinking ..... I would like a playdate somewhere we could paint off a field (or at least part of one) and practice some of the other types of competitions together .... i.e. Time Trials, FDDO Obstacles, Extreme Distance, Hot Zone (like Roo's "DISC" idea), etc. Kinda compete against each other for fun and get a little experience in those areas. Maybe if I rented out the back fenced in area at the Family Dog Center or something? Anywhere? I think Time Trials sound like a lot of fun and the obstacles/10x10 box could really help some of us with our accuracy. Just an idea .... I think it would be fun!

ya this would be a good idea. Could set it up on a weekend and have a cook out and stuff. Would be great at someone house as well...

I would love to have a get together in the La Crosse area. I enjoy playing but don't know others in the area who are also interested in frisbee.

Unfortunately, Amanda now lives in Rochester. Sue and Otis used to play disc but we haven't heard from them in quite awhile! You are more than welcome to come over to Rochester for the play dates this summer. I know it's a bit of a drive though. You were at Champs this year, right? Cali was a neat girl. Hope to see you guys more this year!

If those coming to the seminar like our field setup (and it works out well)...it can be painted for a playdate such as this.
