Board Members present: Brian Bruzek, Paul Winsworth, Tania Lex, Mickey Bruzek, Sadie Simmons, Denise Koster, Emily Northrop, Sean Silvernail
Club Members present: Megan Carlson , Shelley Winsworth

1. Treasurer's report:

a. Trailer storage expense (Sean may possibly store trailer for the winter)
b. DT World order expenditure is not figured into the bank account balance
c. Insurance has not been paid for the year
d. Looking for show income for next year
e. Club is looking for sponsorship for State Champs
f. Emily will be a contact for comp awards
g. Club is looking for sponsorship for 2013 Pet Expo

2. Guest Judges:

a. Confirm Matt DiAno for both days June Jam
b. Heather Bednar possibility June Jam
c. Roo Yori possibility for State Champs (hasn’t been asked yet)
d. Hotel room has been approved for payment for guest judges

3. Newsletter:

a. 1st issue for 2012 was posted for March; 2nd issue planned for June
b. Club members will be encouraged to email photos for the newsletter to staff
c. Volunteers to write articles are encouraged to email Mickey

4. Waiver of Liability and Media Release:

a.Tania is working on the waiver
b. Anyone who plays at our comps will need to sign the waiver

5. Rescue Work:

a. Emily is working on contacting rescue orgs so that club members can volunteer to help at events.
b. She has been contacted by Amy Hotchkiss from ARLP.

6. Shelter Photography:

a. Brian is working on LifeTouch Photography taking pro photos of dog’s in shelters & rescues.

7. Trailer:

a. Paul will get the wheels greased. He & Brian will organize the trailer.
b. We will work with the current generator.
c. A wrap for the trailer was discussed. We will wait till we get a new logo next year.
d. Sean will take the trailer after the TCOTC seminar.

8. Supplies to be purchased:

a. Brian will check pricing on a printer
b. Paul will check pricing on a new wireless mic
c. After trailer is cleaned out, we will take inventory to determine what organizing supplies are necessary.
d. Folding chairs
e. Orange & white field paint
f. Field flags
g. Comp awards
h. Totes or bins

9. T-shirts

a. MNDDC logo can be used for personal shirts. We will not order shirts for sale

10. Promotional ideas:

a. Stickers/decals
b. Post flyers in local pet stores, vet offices, etc
c. Carry business cards to hand out
d. We can pass out copies of the newsletter


Meeting was adjourned about 2:15pm

Other random topics were discussed but were difficult to track so if anyone notices something I missed, let me know.
