Just wanted to get the scoring systems for the Minnesota Cup and the June Jam events out to all those who are interested.

This years June Jam will take place in Savage MN and Rochester MN, June 21st and 22nd. The two events will each award their own winners and provide points to the June Jam contest.

June Jam Scoring.

June Jam will have one freestyle winner, one toss and catch winner, and one overall winner.

Each days events will be worth the following points.

1st-----------------10 points

2nd----------------09 points

3rd---------------- 08

4th---------------- 07

5th---------------- 06

6th---------------- 05

7th---------------- 04

8th---------------- 03

9th and below ----- 02

Ties will be broken by the winner of Sundays events. In the event there is a tie for the overall with one winning the freestyle on Sunday and one winning the toss and catch then the winner of the overall will be determined by a throw off. 1 throw per team, highest score wins the overall.

Minnesota Cup Series.

All Minnesota Cup events will have 2 rounds of freestyle and 2 rounds of D/A or Toss and catch. However the second round of Freestyle will be cut to the top ten teams.

4 majors and 1 championship event will be used to calculate total score. Your top 3 scores from the 4 majors will count toward your Minnesota cup points*. This means you can miss one event and still be in the running for the Minnesota Cup*.

Majors: Savage, Rochester, Red Wing, one to be named.

A tie in the Minnesota Cup scoring will be determined by the higher finisher in the Minnesota State Championship event.

Minnesota Cup scoring-

20pts, 1st place

18pts, 2nd place

16pts, 3rd

14pts, 4th

12pts 5th

10ts 6th

Good luck to all.

Yep will do. June Jam winners will be announced after The RochesterFest awards are handed out. One of the Judges and the announcer will do that while we tally the June Jam results.

Should be getting the Wazgear sponsored June Jam Trophies next week.

jg :)
